Never one to shy away from some shameless self promotion I want to tell you all about a new project that I am involved with. Foodiez TV is the first dedicated UK wide online restaurant review channel, and yours truly will be featuring as their Brighton reviewer. Each week we have been challenged by top restaurant critic, Andy Hayler, to review the top restaurant in our chosen city based on a specific cuisine. I am really excited to be taking part and try my hand at a bit of video reviewing and presenting.
The channel launched on the 24th of November and my first review, of Brighton’s best gastro pub, has gone live. I’ve never done anything like this before and it was mildly terrifying putting myself in front of the camera and reading from an autocue. I’ve been dreading watching the first video and, to some extent, am still dreading people watching it now. That is not going to stop me from sharing it with you because that is the whole point of putting myself through all this. Those of you who know me personally will know that I am a man of few words; and so having to talk for three minutes solid pretty much equates to a weeks worth of normal speech. What I am trying to say is, I was quite out of my comfort zone.
Without further ado, and having firmly lowered your expectations of my performance, I would really love for you to check out Foodiez TV and my video by clicking the link below. Mine is the Brighton review which you can also view directly using this link. I have recorded three videos so far and will be doing more next year; so please subscribe to the channel so that you do not miss laughing at me in the future.
Foodiez TV are trying to do something very unique and I know everyone involved would be hugely grateful of your support. Alongside the bloggers city reviews they are also creating original content including Foodiez news and High Street Foodie. Please share the video as far and wide as you can and watch it until your heart is content (once then) and subscribe to the channel.
Thanks so much for reading and your continued support.
